I sit at a nice lacquered table with a couple crayons in my hand. Always Sea Green and Goldenrod. There are colouring books but I prefer blank paper. There the creatures inside me have more room to play. Dinner was a veggie burger. Always a veggie burger. The other patients use metal silverware….
It’s International Book week! “The astonishment which I had at first experienced on this discovery soon gave place to delight and rapture.” Grab the closest book, turn to the 52nd page, and post the 5th sentence on that page.
“Americans were a violent people. Fourteen thousand gun deaths per annum. A lawless, cultureless, energy-guzzling land of religious fanatics, cowboy politicians, and plutocrats who paid less than 90 percent of their income in taxes.
Still, they did give the world the Twinkie.”
-The Girl With The Sturgeon Tattoo
I drew this on my desk in Senora Lopez’ Spanish class way back in ‘09. Not my best work ,but I mean it’s on a desk. Anyway some chick from another class sees it, thinks it’s the greatest thing ever, and writes on the desk that she wants to meet me or whatever… I agree and we set up a meeting. I finally meet her one morning and it turns out she just wanted to meet me so that I could draw her art final for her… At least that’s what she told me anyway.
VIDEO GAME CHARACTERS REIMAGINED
Artist Jed Henry wondered what if Nintendo video game characters were samurai and started this amazing series of new art illustrations. Can’t wait to see what else he comes up with.
